I was at my grandparents house.(they are both dead)My father and I were clearing all the furniture out of the kitchen. We were getting ready for the nuclear war. We both crouched down in blast position. With my eyes closed I could see the brightness of the blast start, but instead of dying I was still alive.I survived it.

This is a recurring dream: During some kind of audit, it is discovered that I never had enough credits to graduate from high school, and I have to complete one whole semester all over again! I've had this dream numerous times for the last 10 years. Sometimes, I'm only missing credits in math (a subject that I hated) and sometimes it's a whole semester's worth. I see myself back at my high school, attending classes with the teenagers. Sometimes when I have this dream, I'm late, having trouble finding the classroom, or are unprepared (no books, starting 1-2 weeks into semester). I get a kick out of the dream, it doesn't make me scared or apprehensive, just amused. I'd love to know why I continually have this dream and what it means!

I really love this dream. I found myself under the sea. At first I thought I was unable to breath but then I could and became calm. Actually I was very relaxed. As I was going deeper and deeper I found a small three at the bottom of the ocean. I found the place very peaceful and I chose this place to die. Often, I dream about my comfortable, old home. It was in my family for many years, and I visited there often as a child; then the home was passed on to me, and my family and I lived there for 23 years. The house itself is gone now, only one familiar tree remains on the site. In my dreams, I am in the house, and move freely between rooms. I know exactly where to find everything, and people and even my long-gone cats and dog are there. The rooms and furniture are just as they should be, and so are the people. The dream isn't always the same, there are various stories that take place during the dreams. When I waken from these dreams, I feel an odd sense of both sadness/peace at the same time. I dream quite a bit during sleep, but the dreams about my old home are by far the most frequent and powerful dreams that I have.

i was in new york with a girlfriend and even in a hot summer day, the people around us were wearing big fur coats and long winter jackets. we just thought it was funny and maybe they were waiting for a kind of unexpected cold wave. i needed to pay a tax at my hotel but they told me that they will only accept 50cents coins. so we went to a bank and i asked to a girl at the cashier to give me some 50cents coins. she gave 3 1usdollar bills and i wondered if she could not understand my english - i am a brazilian guy - then she return to talk to a guy who was standing tall behind her. i first asked the guy to change one of those bills to a token one dollar coin. he took the money, and after a verification to be sure about if it was real or false he gave me the token. then i gave the other 2dollar bills to the girl again and asked her to change it for me in 50cents coins. so she gave me 5 big brillant magnificent gold 50 cents dollar coins. i took them and were back to a restaurant and met some friends where i told them what happened and sowed them my coins...

I often have dreams where I am trying to get somewhere (I don't know where) and I have to run and walk. I feel exhasparated in the dream not to have a faster mode of transportation. I have to travel quite a distance. Sometimes it is in the country along a dirt road, near a lake with no one around. Or in the city with some people (mostly professionals going home from work) around. I don't remember getting to wherever it is I am going.

This nightmare took place in a house that I lived in for many years as a child and that my family moved out of a few years ago. It was late at night and I was preparing to leave the next day for Disneyland with my boyfriend, a trip which I am actually taking in a few weeks. I was in the kitchen and I had just baked some brownies to take on the trip. Suddenly, I noticed many ants running around the kitchen; I killed them with some ant spray (I have recently had an ant problem in my apartment in reality). I was very mad that this happened because I didn't want to deal with something like this right before my trip. Then I suddenly felt very scared because I wanted to leave the house, but I had a strange feeling that something was wrong outside. I went to the family room window, which looks out to the driveway, and I peered between the blinds, opening them just enough so I could see out. It was pitch black, but I could just barely make out the outline of a person standing in the driveway watching me. I was paralyzed with fear and I felt completely helpless and isolated in the house. We just stood there, staring at each other, I looking out into the darkness, unable to see the mystery person's face, and he looking in at me, watching my every move. It seems like this lasted forever because I was rooted to the spot in my horror. Finally I placed a quick call to the police and right away, a patrol car appeared in my driveway. The flashing lights illuminated the figure watching me, which hadn't moved at all, and I saw that it was a human-sized cardboard cut-out of a cartoon rabbit. It was grinning at me and a shiver ran down my spine. However, the policeman didn't realize that it wasn't a real person and he snapped on a pair of handcuffs and took the cut-out away. I watched the car pull out of the driveway and drive away down the street. When it had disappeared, I looked around outside once more, because I really wanted to leave the house but I was still scared. As I turned my eyes to the left toward the front porch, I noticed a dark figure standing in front of the door on the porch. I was filled with indescribable fear; my heart felt like ice. I felt as if there was nothing I could do, no way I could be saved from this faceless and sinister stranger. I went to the front door to somehow try to keep him from coming inside. The locks began to turn; he was unlocking the door from the outside! But as soon as one lock was undone, I relocked it from my side. This continued for a while, and I just hoped that I could keep up and relock the door just as fast as he was unlocking it. Suddenly, I realized that he was no longer on the other side of the door because the locks weren't turning. I thought that the stranger must be coming around to the back of the house to try another way to get in, so I thought that perhaps I could escape by running out the front door while he was coming through the back. But then I thought, what if he's making me think he's coming through the back, but he's really just waiting for me to come out the front? I felt like there was no way out for me; I was terrified. When I woke up, I couldn't push the images of the sinister figures out of my mind and I sat in bed in terror for a long time.

I was talking to someone and the top of my thigh was itching. I scratched and a little skin tag came off and suddenly there was a small fish under my skin, quite visible. It was perfectly formed lying on the side, about 1 inch long. It was irridescent blue and green. Then there were lots of them under the skin of my leg. There were also starfish, and sand crabs but they were not as distinctly visible. This was very frightening to me. I ran to my doctor and asked the office manager if it were possible for me to see the doctor just for a moment. She said "certainly not". He was completely booked for the morning. I showed her my leg and explained that if I became upset other things would appear under my skin. Then there was a large swelling like a ridge across my thigh - like a snake?. This frightened her and she ran to get the doctor. Then the dream went off into something else which I can't remember. When I awoke I was very disturbed by this dream and it still causes me a great deal of unease.

I actually don't remember all of it but I remember my boyfriend was in a race on some kind of motorized dirtbike. He had to go down a steep dirt hill and go around a cornor of a wall. Well that's where he smacked into the wall. When he came back up the hill to where I was standing his mouth was filled with blood and he was spitting his teeth out. Anyway, that is all I remember of the dream but I thought I heard from somebody that spitting out your teeth was suppose to mean something.

I had a dream that I was standing naked on a rock in the middle of a river at sunset. The sky was pink and the river banks were soft and grassy. There was a dense forest on either side and the cool water of the river was swirling around my feet.

I did not feel uncomfortable about my nudity, in fact I felt quite serene and peaceful; this feeling of contentment followed me into my day. I remeber the river's water quite vivedly- it was fresh and cool and it only covered the top of my feet.

This ended up being one of my all time favourite dreams.

I was in a car with my parents and my sister. We were driving on the farm where I ride horses and there was a little girl about 8 yrs old with long blonde hair in the car with us. We dropped her off at her home but there was something wrong there--she was adopted and she had 3 younger brothers who were also adopted and ethnically mixed. One of them, an Asian 3/4 yr.old, was bad, really bad. After we dropped her off, my mom and I had this distinct feeling that something was really wrong and we were deciding whether to go back and save the girl when I woke up.

I had a dream where I was taking a bus trip with my sister to South Carolina. Nothing really seemed out of the ordinary while we prepared for the trip. Though there was a little confusion from people about it. We had to take a bus to Atlantic City first for some reason, then I suppose transfer from there. I have done a lot of moving around lately, so the traveling idea seemed normal. We got to Atlantic City at night, the terminal was packed and we had time to kill so I went walking around and I realized that I was naked. I wasn't embarrassed about it and I acted like normal, which when awake surprised me. No one else really seemed to notice me or at least make a big deal about me being naked. I think I woke up before we were able to board the bus. I have never had a dream about being naked in public before, so I was confused about this. Being that no one was shocked or made remarks about it surprised me too. Normally being tell me they are embarrassed about being naked, but I wasn't.

Starts off being chased through this strange house by this lizard-monster. I run down the hall, and come to the first door on the right and slam it open. I run toward the bed and jump under the covers. I finally get the nerve to peek over the blanket. Suddenly, someone out of nowhere yells "CUT!!". I look around, there is the lizard-monster taking off mask and a room full of movie personel scrambling around.

I drive by a park, stop and look around. I notice a 6 year old girl lying on the ground in the park with a knife in the center of her chest. I can see that she is near death. There is another concerned man nearby whom I do not know. I am full of concern and worry for her. I immediately call 911 and ask for an ambulance and paramedics to be sent, and am told the other man has already done it. I first wait for the man or someone else to help the situation, but no one wll. I try to help by first examining her, and then I pull the knife straight out of her. There is no blood. She does not respond and I worry I may have done something wrong by pulling out the knife, and also worry the ambulance may not arrive in time. Then I start talking to ther in a calm and encouraging way. She respoonds to this. The more I talk, the better she seems to feel.By the time the ambulance comes she seems to be in very little pain and feeling quite good, though not completely healed. She goes off in the ambulance and I feel good about my actions, herolike.

Chase ends at the end of a rope bridge leads underneath a zoo, or tropical green-house that has an open air area underneath it. Like the place was on short stilts. The ceiling about 5 ft high, filled with dead bodies and blood. I wake as the killer runs up behind me...

I was at someone's house (don't know who) we were all saying good-bye. My husband had put our daughter in the front seat of the car, she was asleep (6mths old) it was cold out and she was wrapped up pretty good in a blanket. I got into the car and almost sat on her. As I was getting in I noticed there was a man and a woman getting into this Dark green Jeep Cherokee, with a baby and was really looking at me weird, but seem to be in a hurry. A neighbor of the people came up and was trying to talk to them-but they pretended to live at the house next to whoever we were visiting and rushed around back trying to get in the house. John, my husband and his family were getting in the car at this time and we proceeded to drive away-I picked up our daughter when we got started to hold her and noticed she had dark hair, and two birth marks on her face I told John that he must have picked up the wrong baby that we had to go back. Our daughter and son both have blonde hair and blue eyes, typical beautiful kids. Anyway, he said no he was sure he had put her in the car-I told him we had to go back and see if those people were still there. They had gone and I was crying and screaming I couldn't stand to look at this other baby-we got the news crew out and were pleading to return our child-that we would give them back their child or we would keep it if they didn't want it. In my dream I also saw a girl crying because her parents had taken her baby away and gotten our baby for her. She felt bad about the situation and wanted her original baby back. I gave the police the discription of the people-they seem to belong to a certain religion-the people who live like the old days-no electricity, horse and carts-but they had a Jeep Cherokee. They wore plaid clothes/wool?? It was a cold rainy day. I kept blaming myself, saying I saw my baby and didn't do anything-yet I didn't know at that time it was my baby. I couldn't do anything for the ugly baby-she kept crying. I pleaded with them on the news, that I needed to give my baby certain kinds of food-that she was allergic to some things. We even had our pediatrician talking on the news with us. I don't remember our son being anywhere in the picture. My in-laws were there with us. They had rode to this dinner with us. Anyway I woke up before the end and couldn't go back to sleep. I was afraid I would dream the same one again. Please help, this is driving me crazy. I have thought about this dream all day.

I dreamt that I was woken up by strange noises and on my bed was a cat just sitting calmly watching me. I felt a tremendous sense of fear and decided that the cat had to go. I pick it up by the scruff of its neck and from my bedroom I walked bare footed to the lounge room. There I saw that my front door was closed and I had to open it to through the cat out. I then noticed a dog was outside my door with my foot in his mouth. I was not afraid of the dog and managed to loosen his grip and free my foot. I then closed the front door. I noticed that the sliding door in my lounge room was open and as I went to close I notices that it had been raining and water had come through into my lounge room and had soaked the carpets. I saw that my neighbours lights were on and I tried to phone him to come and comfort me but there was no answer. I then physically woke up.

My dream is frightening me! I remember having it once as a little girl. I just recently had it again! I was goin to marry my boyfriend(this time I knew who he was unlike the first time I had the dream). My parents strongly objected and would not give me their blessing. I decided to get married anyway only under a false identity. My parents found out though. They stopped the wedding before it even started. I ran through what appeared to be a stairwell and out into the world. My father and brother got into my dads van and chased after me. Iran through the woods and country lands of my town for miles. I sat down with a group of campers to hide. My dad passed without noticing me. I got up and started running again. It was only then that the campers noticed me. I ran to a restaurant. It was not close to my house. I found out that it was an Arby's located many miles from my house. I ran in to hide. Of course I looked to my left and who did I see coming in. My brother and dad were hungry and decided to stop there. They came into the restaurant when normally they would just go through the Drive-through. I ran out the doors to my right in hopes not to be seen! I failed! I ran and laid down in an almost endless parking lot to hide. I thought my plan had worked but my brother just triked me by getting in the car. He got back out when I got up and my Father and brother caught me.That is my dream

I had a dream that a spirit (possibly evil) was floating in the couner of my bedroom while I was sleeping. The spirit was a very bright light. It would sweep down and touch me and I would go into convulsions. In my dream, this happened quite frequently, but my boyfriend, who is sleeping next to me, never noticed me shaking and jumping around. I would ask my boyfriend the next morning (in my dream) "didn't you notice that I was jerking around last night" and he would say "no". I was beginning to think I was crazy. Then one night it happened again, this time I could speak and move my arm, I screamed out his name and grabbed him, and he finally woke up. He saw that I was jerking and convulsing and all he could do was hold me. While this is going on, he sees the spirit floating on the ceiling then fly down and touch me again. He is screaming, and then I wake up. I remember feeling relieved that he knew and I knew that I wasn't crazy after all, and this really was happening to me.

My friend and I were sitting on a ledge in a room. The room had one window and that was the only way in or out. Beneath the ledge was all water and we sat on the ledge with our fishing poles. I have recurring dreams about being chased. I would have them quite often then I didn't have them for a few months but it started again last week. (only one since) The thing about being chased is that I try to get away from them by flying, usually it is the nighttime. The person that is chasing me is different each time, sometimes I recoginze them, sometimes I don't. They also know how to fly. I don't think I have ever been caught by them but I always have trouble staying up. I will start to fly by running then I will get up in the air...I fly by "swimming", which I don't do very well in real life. Most of the time I am flying in my neighborhood..around wires, houses, trees. Interpretation?
