This nightmare has been recurring since I was six. Me and a blonde girl (I'm a brunette) (always a real person though her identity keeps changing as I age, earliest she was my elder sister ( a step), then my best friend) are shown to the top floor of a very tall building to see my "uncle" (who does not exist in my conscious world) (I mention step, because he is my uncle only, my companion is always a guest) We are given gifts and a meal and settle down to watch a program on tv. (it's I think supposed to be "The Red Balloon", because the protagonist is a young man, also blonde) who, aside from the red balloon, has all of the gifts that we've been given, including two kittens, one black, the other white. Both are purring happily But having to carry all of his treasures, his hands are quite full, and when a sudden gust of wind blows the balloon out of his hands, he loses his balance and the objects scatter and disappear (poof! disappear not just off the screen). Simultaneously, the lights in the room flicker and the my companion and the white kitten disappear. The black kitten, whom I am holding, bites me and draws blood. I drop her and she disappears too. I ask my uncle in despair where they have gone. He replies in a voice both sad and remote, "To the basement," and I am stricken with fear. But nonetheless, I am sent to retrieve them. The elevator ride down is a long one and when the doors open, I first get a sense of the surroundings. It is very stereotypically hellish, but in a way that does not contradict with the rest of the dream. I look out into a long dark hallway whose wall paper is that musty red textured stuff one sees in a depiction of a victorian bordello, lit dimly by dust-covered gas lamps (of course) I am about to step out into this when a gust of something (heat, smell) overwhelms me and I faint back into the elevator. Then I wake up. A rag-bag of over-the-top cliche I am well aware it is and sounds, but I swear that this is real. The juxtaposition between heaven and hell is also overtly obvious, but as to what that means for me, I am at a loss. I'm not overly religous (not really religous at all), or I would say it's some sort of original sin thing

The little girl wants to go there , she is curious.Inside the house there is a little black girl with braided hair and a white dress. Well usually I can determine the message in the dreams I have. But a few months ago my mind decided to throw me a curve. My memory of the dream is vivid, but one part most of all sticks out... It involved me and my best friend. We were both secret agents or spies - well that is until we were captured. The strange thing was our captor was Adolf Hitler. This is the part of the dream thats strange. We were all put on a bus, there were several other prisoners. Each of us was put on our own seat. Adolf sat down in the seat in front of me. Without looking directly at me he turned his head and I could see his eyes. I looked at them and well - they were my eyes. It wasn't one of those things that you just see, I felt it too. My eyes in his head or maybe the other way around. Then the bus ride was over and we got off As my friend and I walked down a long spiral hall, Hitler and his lady comrade were behind us. Then not hearing his voice but feeling his thoughts, he said to the woman "Why is he friends with that guy, there total opposites." It's the truth we are total opposites, but we've been best friends sense the fifth grade. I can't remember to much after that, but you can see why that part would stick in my mind. I can understand everything in that dream except for the part with Hitler's eyes. Could this have some deeper meaning...

I am in a room with 9 other people. We are being counseled by a "spirit". This "spirit" told us that 7 of them were going to Heaven, and that 3 of us had a choice. We were told that we would be summoned and taken to visit with another higher "spirit". A door opened and I was lifted from my chair and levitated through the door. (I was still vertical). Next I was in movie theatre and I could see all the people in the chairs below me, but they couldn't see me. I vividly remember going to the front of the theatre where the screen was and I could see different colored lights that were shining from the floor to the screen. I was taken through another door to the right side of the screen and I was in an underground tunnel. It was carpeted with red carpet and the walls were stone like an old castle. There were no corners to any of the walls instead, everything was rounded. The floors were not level, their were ramps instead of having stairs. At one point, whatever was pulling me toward my destination, accidentally bumped me into one of the walls, it then backed me up and moved me over a few inches to allow me to clear the doorway. I was taken into a room. There were lots of little desks and chairs like for kindergarten. Whatever took me there, told me that someone would be in to counsel me in a moment. I was then positioned horizontally and I began to spin around the circumference of the room (it was round too) I could feel me little finger gently brushing against the stone walls. The room went black and then there was a sort of strobe light that was coming from the center of the ceiling. It was not rhythmic. It got freezing cold and I was getting scared. Then a voice told me that there was nothing to be afraid of, that this was not a bad spirit that was coming to visit. All of a sudden, I felt this warm rush of air and I smiled knowing that the "spirit" had entered the room. I was happy and knew that "he" was there. He told me that there were too many people in the world that were blind to all of the suffering. Too much greed and that the most important thing to remember is to always be kind to each other. At this point, the door to the room opened, when this happened I was stopped and shoved under a desk. A lady entered the room and said "I forgot to give you a kiss". I was anxious to what the "spirit" looked like, so I looked at the reflection in the window above the desk I was under. I saw the lady lean down and a small child stood up and she kissed the child on the cheek. After the lady left, I wondered why the "spirit" was a small child. The spirit answered me by saying that he will appear to each person differently, in a manner that they can accept. Perhaps a small child to one or an elderly person to another. It was then that I realized that something I had heard all of my life finally sunk in! I was also told that all of our misdeeds of the past may be forgiven right up to the very end, if only we acknowledge them and ask forgiveness. Then the spirit told me to help people understand that kindness to everyone of all ages, races, backgrounds, etc., is the key. That's it. I guess I woke up.

I had this dream when I was about three or four years old. It sounds a little funny, but it scared the hell out of me at the time. I woke up one night in a cold sweat. As I said, I was only about three or four. I am now 18. I had a dream that my mom had gone in the bathroom and used the toilet. I got my mother to take me to the Dead Shop(a psychedelic shop where I live)where S, who is a friend of a friend and works there, is talking to a friend unknown to me while reading a handmade book I'd never read before. We talked about Paris and I asked about getting my wrist pierced. I wanted to have a ring going through my wrist bone. I then asked if I needed anything implanted into the arm in order to raise the skin. S made a small incision near my inner elbow and five or six teeny tiny forks were implants inside of me. The forks had been propped upright so that the flesh was raised in grotesque contortions.When I pulled back some of the skin I could see the lumps more distinctly.I became physically ill simply by looking at it and I was also able to sense actual physical pain.I entered an extension of the Dead Shop where I had to use the restroom.The toilet was in plain view to the public but I used it anyway and didn't think anything of it.When I pulled up my pants I tried to do it facing away form the other customers in the shop but S's friend was able to see me clearly and told me not to hang around her something about me pulling up my pants wrong.I was outside walking home in an area I'd never seen before.It was bright and sunny out.A mechanical,green dog flew down from the sky landing right in front of me.These were suppose to be rare and never got near people but this one was close enough for me to touch it.So,for fear of it springing into my face,I only extended my foot and placed it on the dog.I could feel its mechanical heart ticking.A pig then flew right into my hands and came to life and I became afraid that it may have been the Sow or a token of the Sow(Celtic demon I once read about)so I decided to wake up but I didn't.I then became lucid.I looked at the clouds in the sky behind the beautiful houses and the to test my lucidity I lifted myself off the ground and started to fly.I suddenly wanted to go and visit C,a more-than-a-friend friend who I've known for over a year.Unfortunately I lost my lucidity quickly.

Over the years, actually as far back as I can remember, I have dreamed of flying, and I do not mean in an airplane. I simply am flying, there seems to be no effort involved, and I am at peace. It is wonderful! At times I look down from great heights at the earth, and see things I know do not exist in this time line. Many times my flights are short, where as I simply lift off the ground, and move about freely as if be thought alone. From time to time, my dreams have actually seemed more like chapters in a book, where one dream picks up where the last one left off. These dreams do not occur on a daily basis, but more like a random pattern. I always awake refreshed from one of these dreams, and if I had one wish about them, it would be to be able to "dream at will". I have always found these dreams to be an asset to me as I seem to be more collected after having dreamt of flying. Would that I could understand the significance of these dreams? Are they actually out of body experiences? I seem to have no substance during these dreams, no pain, no sensation only a inner peace that is hard for me to describe. The closest I can come to giving a description of my flying, is that I simply wish it so, I raise up my arms, arch my back, and I am off on another adventure. I very much enjoy my flights, but truly wish to understand the significance of the dreams.

I was once in a busy city. It was dark, and the city was crowded. (maybe New York?) Anyway, I was walking around, taking in the sights. Suddenly, as I passed by an alley, someone grabbed me and pulled me into the darkness. I tried to yell, but they had placed a hand over my mouth,and my yell was muffled. I had this dream once where I was in the jungle with my class and my health teacher was there. We climbed up a tree and loaded into an old broken down airplane. Somehow I can't remember we are all of the sudden way way up high. We jump out, but i am near the end I jump out and it is just like I imagined it. When you looked down you could see the jungle and mountains. I move my arms and legs, and it's like I can feel extremely well. As i fall it's like there is nothing there, but i am awake controlling my dream, I can feel my feet movement and and the wind in my face, I can feel it!!! I am just falling. I wanted all the thrill I could get so I didn't open the chute, and kept falling. I was convinced that I could pull my chute farther down. I kept falling but the ground came up very fast. I started to glide in on my stomach, and just rolled onto the ground, and didn't feel any pain whatsoever. Then Everybody started coming in, but they fell just like me. They were in pain after they hit. This dream was very exciting, we were wearing vietnam clothes with backpacks and stuff. When I wake up I remember feeling when I was falling and wondering if I ran to the airport jumped in a plane and jumped out in my sleep, because I could feel the falling feeling! I could move anyway I wanted, spin anyway I wanted It seemed so real. I want to know what this means and why I felt like I was really really falling! I sometimes fall of buildings and land on the ground and I can feel extreme pain, in my feet. And when I fall my stomach rises, to put it simply, why does it feel so real. Am I sleepwalking my dream?

Another problem I have is screaming profanities out loud in my sleep, my mother is very scared by it. She say's I say every word in the book, and I will walk to the kitchen and just pour the milk on the living room carpet and not even know it! What can I do?

I had a dream a few nights ago in which I was standing in line for tickets to a Metallica concert. It was in California, or some other sunny, summery type city, because I could see the ocean just off to my left. I saw someone I knew standing behind me, and we started talking to each other., Then I got hungry, and me and my brother decided to go across the street, while my dad was holding our place in line, to this little mexican-looking shop to get some chips. THere was a big display, and a sign saying pay across the street, So we started to look for our money, but we found we had none. Then we went on a quest to find money, and ended up jumping from rooftop to rooftop in search of money. WE started to get chased, and suddenly my brother wasn't my brother anymore, but it was my father. On one of the roofs, we found a large amount of quarters, and started to pick them up, but the roof wasn't very sturdy and it started to fall in, so we jumped down, still being chased In front of that building were some brand new, good quality mountain bikes, and at that point I knew thats what we'd been looking for. All of a sudden, my father had been caught, and the scene changed to a dark dusty and musty room, with me standing in my male friends arms, looking down into a little grate, where we could see my father, in a room exactly the same size as he was, looking back up at us.

When we dream of a person who's dead, does it mean he/she is trying to communicate?

I once had this dream where my brother and I were at our beach house, at night, and there were evil spirits after him. I tried to ask them what they wanted me to do for them, what would it take for them to leave him alone, but I was completely powerless. Then my great-grandma (maternal) appeared and thought me prayers to make them go away. I can't remember wether she came to me alive or as a spirit, neither the prayers she said. She died about nine years ago, and she was a very spiritualized person, she had visions and such, as do most women in both sides of my family. I've never experienced anything that obvious although I think I have very powerfull insights, but everybody tells me I do have the power and it's probably just a matter of time

A few days ago I started to think a lot about my grandma (paternal), whom I never met. I felt as if she were close to me. She died 32 years ago (I'm 21) along with my grandpa and their two younger daughters in a car crash. I used to hear these stories when I was younger about how she was not ready to die, because she kept coming to the children in our family to the point where my cousin, who was four at the time, once woke up her parents speaking german (my grandma was born in Baden Baden). Anyway, last night I had a nightmare where grandma was mad at me, and she kept close to me as do the evil spirits. But I knew she was not evil, and I knew it was neither her fault nor mine that she was angry, it was just because she did not want to die and could not find peace. I though of a way to help her since the restless spirits come to people looking for help, even if it feels as they're mean. I though I should light a candle for her.

I always felt my dreams were powerfull and very meaningful. Did my relatives actually come to me?

To begin with I am standing in a queue with about five or six other people. I recognize two of the people there, one is my Dad, the other is Jelena, a girl that I think I am in love with. There are a number of seats that seem to be in the middle of a field. My Dad goes and sits in one of the seats at the front and Jelena takes a seat at the back. I take the seat at the back across the isle from Jelena. The seats must be on some sort of magic carpet or something, because they begin to rise and start accelerating although I do not look down at the floor but keep looking forward so I don't know what I am travelling on. The carpet move at a speed so great that I can feel a crushing sensation on my chest. I can hear my Dad say something and the carpet does a tight turn increasing the crushing feeling. I know that I want to keep going in the direction we started in so I call out to turn back, even though I know it will increase the crushing even more. The carpet then turns round and keeps going and that is as much as I can remember.
